Erin and the Girls.

We made several trips up to Utah and back before our big move...mostly to get stuff at Ikea, visit family and friends that we knew we wouldn't be seeing as often and bringing things up to store while we were in New York. Basically Scott would work his three night shifts (7pm-7am) in the Cardiac ICU at Sunrise Hospital, and then we'd leave for 4 days. We did this probably the last month or so that he worked. Grandma Barbara drove up with us twice to meet baby Gavin and then came back for his blessing.

Perfect and Precious Children.

Funny Birthday Card Reaction.

We always have great birthday celebrations at Jana and Chris' place!

Verl, ?, One of the Mary's maybe?, and Scott.

Sunrise Hospital Cardiac ICU.

I stopped by Scott's job for the first and last time one evening at like midnight
to join in this going away birthday party for Scott.

Last Tea Party in their bedroom.

I stayed up late for several nights packing. One of those nights, I packed all of the girl's clothes, except for a bag of new clothes and panties that I was going to put in another box. Well, when Ella woke up in the morning and reached for her panties in her panty drawer, they weren't there. She found the bag of new stuff, opened them and took off all of the tags and placed them nicely in her drawer. I woke up to a little girl with her arms folded and a scowl on her face demanding to know where her things had gone!

Scott got this shirt at DI when he arrived home from his mission...holes and all. It is one of those articles that has a story and I had to take pictures before I MADE him let it go...

Goodbye 21 Ocean Harbor Lane, we love you and have wonderful, wonderful memories!

This isn't the best picture of any of us, but it was the end of a unforgettable and fun 2 1/2 years that I would do over again, plus Richard looks like he's wearing an old hat, with the clock behind him!

The last trek out before Chris and Scott headed East. And they took no pictures.

The day before we became New Yorkers...

Our last evening in Las Vegas before the girls and I flew out to New York was picture perfect for me. These set of pictures are ones that I frequently would look through during our first few weeks in our new foreign place.
(Ella and Jason coasting donw Ocean Harbor- May 18th, 2008)
Uncle Jas always has something genuinely fun to do with the kids. Whether it be making us banana pancakes, inhaling helium together, giving his reptiles baths, wrapping presents before Christmas or in this case, skateboarding.

That's Pais! And she is wearing neither a helmet or shoes...that's trust right there.
Ella and Nicole
Me and My lil' bro Joe
Ella making her last arrangement. Thus, making it Grandpa's last time to sweep the patio for a good while til we came to visit again.

Holly came by with her mom, to say goodbye earlier in the afternoon. We both started bawling near the end of the visit...we've been friends since Kindergarten. She gave me the sweetest card.

Ella and Kaitlyn saying farewell.

The girls I would have never survived Middle or High School without!

The day before, Jenny Burke, Tara and Karisa came over to the Parmenter's for Pizza, reminisce and say goodbye...but Karisa stopped by the next evening again! I think Noah came as well! ;)
